Jolly Cowbells


You will need:
- cowbells of various sizes
- orange, pink, and red pompoms
- googley eyes
- red lipstick
- black permanent marker
- cotton balls
- brown, black, red ,and whitefelt pieces
- peach acrylic paint
- white acrylic paint (optional)

For Santa:
1. Use a white cowbell, or paint a cowbell white.
2. Paint on section of bell that will be the face.
2. Glue on googley eyes and pompom for eyes and nose.
3. Draw on mouth and glasses.
4. Cut white felt to look like mustache, glue on.
5. Use lipstick to make blushing cheeks.
6. Glue Cotton balls around top of bell.
7. Cut red felt in a cone shape to make hat, attach cone to cotton balls with glue.
8. Use small cotton ball for the top of the hat.

For Snowman:
1. Use a white cowbell, or paint a cowbell white.
2. Glue on googley eyes and pompom for eyes and nose.
3. Draw on mouth..
4. Use lipstick to make blushing cheeks.
5. Use black felt to cut out shape of the hat and glue on.

For Reindeer:
1. Use a brown cowbell, or paint a cowbell brown.
2. Glue on googley eyes and pompom for eyes and nose.
3. Draw on mouth.
4. Use lipstick to make blushing cheeks.
8. Use brown felt to cut out pattern for antlers and glue on.

• Use red ribbon to tie around tops if you want to use as ornaments or to hang.

Are your children too young to do such a complicated craft? Not to worry, simply give younger children a plain cowbell and let them decorate it with glue, glitter, and other craft materials.
